Fair questions

Is it free to join?

Yes, completely free, and it always will be. EgoCash never charges contributors; we're paid by the robotics teams licensing the footage, not by you.

Do I need any equipment?

A smartphone from the last five years. We ship a simple head / chest mount to new contributors, and it stays yours.

Who sees my footage?

Licensed robotics teams training household robots. Your clips never go to advertisers or social platforms, and every license is tied to your signed release.

Can I delete my clips?

Yes, any clip that has not yet been licensed can be pulled back with one tap, and your account can be closed with everything unlicensed deleted.

How and when do I get paid?

Weekly, to your bank card or account, no minimum balance. Each task shows its rate before you accept it.

Where is EgoCash available?

We launch city by city. Apply and you will be first in line when your city opens.

How long does one task take?

Five to ten minutes from opening the task to uploading the clip, including setting the phone up. Most contributors film a few tasks back to back in one session.
